The City of Oneida will invest approximately $43,305,000 to upgrade the treatment system at the Oneida Waste Water Treatment Plant. The project includes constructing a dairy forcemain and pretreatment system for HP Hood wastewater including a new EQ tank and CAST contact tank. The existing secondary treatment tanks will be expanded, and three new clarifiers constructed to increase capacity. The project will also construct a new high-strength organic receiving area, equalization tank, and two anaerobic digesters.
